FORT-DE-FRANCE, Martinique – Martinique turned up the volume this summer as the fourth annual Reggae Therapy Festival welcomed more than 20,000 music lovers to Louis-Achille Stadium for two days of headline performances, island energy and Caribbean culture.
Held July 11–12 in Fort-de-France, the festival drew audiences from Martinique, the wider Caribbean, Europe and North America. This underscored the island’s growing appeal as a destination for major cultural events. The lineup featured local, regional and international reggae artists including Julian Marley, Barrington Levy, Alborosie, Tarrus Riley, Papa Tank, Skanky, Loy Sonjah, Lieutenant and Reemah.
Julian Marley’s first performance in Martinique stood out as a marquee moment. It helped position the festival as a signature summer celebration of reggae’s global reach. Moreover, it highlights Martinique’s dynamic cultural identity.
Supported by the Martinique Tourism Authority, Reggae Therapy Festival keeps growing. It is powered by Martinican entrepreneurs Josué Charles-Hélène and Michael Almon. The festival is a high-impact platform for international artists and local talent. It also brings in fans from around the world.
The Caribbean Island of Martinique
