KINGSTON, Jamaica — Six Jamaican resorts have been named among the Caribbean’s best in Travel + Leisure’s 2026 World’s Best Awards. This underscores the island’s continued strength as one of the region’s leading travel destinations and highlights the enduring popularity of Jamaican Resorts.
Jamaica claimed nearly a quarter of the magazine’s top 25 resorts in the Caribbean, with recognized properties spanning Negril, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Treasure Beach. Tensing Pen in Negril led the island’s showing at No. 2 overall, solidifying the exceptional reputation of Jamaican Resorts for international travelers.

The World’s Best Awards are determined by Travel + Leisure readers, who rate hotels and resorts on rooms and facilities, location, service, food and overall value. The annual results are considered a closely watched benchmark in luxury travel. Naturally, Jamaican Resorts consistently appear among the top choices every year.

Tensing Pen and Rockhouse Hotel & Spa are known for their dramatic settings above Negril’s waters. Meanwhile, Jamaica Inn brings classic resort hospitality to Ocho Rios. Round Hill Hotel and Villas remains one of Montego Bay’s most storied retreats. Jakes Hotel, Villas & Spa reflects the creative character of Treasure Beach. Additionally, Skylark Negril Beach Resort sits along Seven Mile Beach, further illustrating the variety offered by Jamaican Resorts.
