Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, a Delectable Food Experience and More

SUNRISE – The producers of the annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, Florida, are busy making plans to deliver another splendid day of food, music and family-fun at Markham Park on Veterans Day, November 11, 2018.

According to sources, attendees can expect changes to the event layout, new features to engage patron and exciting promotions and ticket offers to elevate the patron’s experience at this year’s festival.

Every year, thousands descend on Markham Park to feast on genuine Caribbean cuisines from a variety of local and international food vendors. The offerings range from popular jerk chicken and pork to more exotic fare such as spicy pork belly tacos and jerk ice cream.

Corporate sponsors seize the opportunity to share their products and services with festival fans and offer prizes and samples.

Publix Supermarket will present the Culinary Pavillion hosted by Chef Irie featuring popular chefs and celebrities who will show their skills and challenge each other in heated competitions.

Those in attendance will experience cooking demos, tastings, and competitions from top chefs from around the country.

Western Union, one of America’s leading financial services company, will present the Cultural Stage where traditional folk presentations will entertain and educate.

The kids are never forgotten. A fully equipped Kids Zone will please the young ones to include face painting, bounce houses, arcade trucks, and much more to keep them engaged throughout the day.

Dancehall is an essential component to the Jamaican culture. The Party Pavilion captures that element featuring popular DJ’s and Selectors who ‘tun up’ the vibez while millennials ‘link up.’

The Main Stage is set serve an entree of top-class reggae featuring upcoming stars and veterans as one of the many highlights of the festival.

Over the years, the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival has presented an “A” list of performers such as Shaggy, Luciano, Tarrus Riley, Christopher Martin, and so many more.

Festival organizers will be announcing the full line up to this year’s festival as well as new additions in the next few days.
