Kingston, Jamaica – Trinidad raga soca superstar Bunji Garlin was in Jamaica for four days to shoot the video for his hot new Ska-Teck project ‘Hall Of Fame’ with Jamaica’s music Ambassador Richie Stephens.
The two music superstars recorded their collaborative club banger in late February and are hoping to have the official video for the song ready in early April. The video was shot at multiple locations in Kingston including a scene which was shot during a live performance the two did for the award winning On Stage TV with Winford Williams.
“Bunji and I are really excited about the video for Hall Of Fame. The song is gaining traction in Trinidad, Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean” Stephens disclosed.
The video will feature several models and the Rifical Team Dancers (RTD) executing the ‘Hall Of Fame’ dance routine.
“We performed Hall Of Fame live with the dancers at the season finale of the Bacchanal Fridays series at Mas Camp an it mash up the place” he gushed.
Bunji who won the Soul Train Award for Best International Performance last year garnered mainstream success with the Major Lazer Differentology remix, which hit the Billboard chart. The song was featured on an episode of the prime time TV drama Greys Anatomy and landed him a deal with RCA Records for the release of ‘Differentology’ on the major label imprint.
In the past three years Stephens’ has been heating up the airwaves with hard hitting singles ‘Live Your Life,’ ‘I Found Heaven,’ ‘Everybody Dance’ and his Mother’s Day tribute song ‘Mama.’ He has also created waves with scintillating live performances at the Soul In the Sun festival last October, at the Jamaica Jazz & Blues festival in January and the pre- Valentines Ladies Ball in NY in February.
