Tune In to Roadblock Radio Live for “Full Circle With Abebe Lewis”

MIAMI – As the scion of one of reggae’s most successful bands, Abebe Lewis learned the musical ropes from early on. This foundation prepared him for a career in marketing, song production and broadcasting.

In July, Lewis launched “Full Circle With Abebe Lewis”, a one-hour show. It airs Wednesdays (8 pm to 9 pm EST) on Roadblock Radio, which operates out of New Jersey.

He discusses music industry trends and developments with high-profile guests such as Ian and Roger Lewis of Inner Circle, who are his father and uncle, respectively.

“Full Circle With Abebe Lewis focuses on in-depth interviews, untold stories, career journeys, music, entrepreneurship, and the people shaping today’s culture. The show brings listeners engaging conversations and exclusive insights from industry leaders,” he told South Florida Caribbean News.

In addition to his father and uncle, to date he has interviewed singers Ky-Mani Marley, Kevin Lyttle and Lunch Money Lewis. Lewis plans to diversify that list as the show grows to give listeners an accurate sense of how the music industry functions.

“The objective of Full Circle With Abebe Lewis is to create a platform where artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders can share their stories beyond the headlines. The show aims to inspire, educate, and entertain while highlighting the journeys, challenges, and successes of its guests,” he explained.

Born in Jamaica, Lewis was raised in South Florida and refers to himself as a ‘Jamerican’. By being around his father and uncle, he saw the success of Inner Circle up front. As a result, he was determined to emulate their achievements, which include a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. They also have a thriving recording complex and business acumen.

Lewis has worked in a management/marketing capacity with DJ Khaled, 2 Live Crew, Nas, Flo Rida and Trick Daddy. He has also advised many emerging artists.
