LOS ANGELES – Rohan Marley will be launching Marley Coffee, a certified organic coffee brand cultivated from the Marley family farm in Jamaica.
The brainchild of long time friends Rohan Marley and Shane Whittle, the company is a labor of love and a tribute to Rohan’s father, Bob Marley.
“My father came from the farmland in Nine Mile. There, he learned a deep respect for nature and humanity–respect that helped guide his life and ours. He said he would return to the farm one day. That was his dream,” said Rohan.
Bob Marley’s dream is now a reality. It is alive in the company’s core philosophy, ITAL. ITAL means all things Pure, True, and Vital. This philosophy shows in how the company treats its farm workers. It also guides the sustainable growing of coffee trees. Plus, money from coffee sales supports the Marley Coffee Foundation. This foundation helps youth soccer programs in rural coffee-growing areas of Jamaica.

All of the company’s coffee is certified organic, with the beans sourced from the highest Class One Specialty grade. Additionally, each bag has Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, a coffee bean picked by hand and known for its distinctive floral bouquet, rich body and smooth taste.

Marley Coffee is currently available for purchase online. Marley and Whittle also recently opened a Canadian facility for international distribution. And, just this week, a U.S. distribution center in Los Angeles was opened to better serve domestic customers.
