JIFFD partners with Fort Lauderdale Strikers Soccer Club in fundraiser for the Reggae Girls

FT. LAUDERDALE – North American Soccer League Club and Fort Lauderdale Strikers (club of Jamaican International Shavar Thomas) have partnered with the Jamaica International Female Football Development (JIFFD) in a fundraising effort for Jamaica’s Women Football programme.

JIFFD will host a promotional campaign in conjunction with the Strikers surrounding their game April 27, 2013 against Tampa Bay Rawdies at the Lockhart Stadium. One Lucky patron who buys tickets for the game from a JIFFD representative or JIFFD partner outlet will win an airline ticket to Jamaica and VIP tickets to see the Reggae Boyz games against Mexico on June 4 and USA on June 7 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

50% of the proceeds from all the tickets sold through JIFFD will go to the organization to assist the Reggae Girls. Also on board to assist with tickets sales is Jamaican food establishment Donna’s Restaurant.

JIFFD which was launched on February 15, 2013 as a not for profit 501C3 organization is a foundation set up in Florida to assist Jamaica’s National Women Football Programme. Among its primary objectives is to ensure that Jamaica’s National Women Football teams are afforded international training camps annually especially ahead of CONCACAF tournaments.
