WPBT2’s new Program: Haitian Voices, a Community Affairs Program Hosted by Gepsie Morisset-Metellus

MIAMI – WPBT2 South Florida PBS is excited to announce the launch of Haitian Voices, a community affairs program that serves to amplify major issues facing South Florida’s fast-growing Haitian population, while celebrating the community’s culture and traditions.

Haitian Voices will analyze the current state of South Florida’s Haitian community, connect community members with important resources and highlight community leaders.

Haitian Voices will air every other Sunday at 12:30 PM on WPBT2.

Gepsie Morisset-Metellus, the host of Haitian Voices, is an exemplary member of South Florida’s Haitian community and has influential ties to her native Haiti.

She is also co-founder and Executive Director of the Haitian Neighborhood Center Sant La, a neighborhood resource center that serves as a lifeline for the Haitian immigrant population of South Florida.

Highly recognized and awarded by local, state and national organizations, a testament of her hard work and dedication to South Florida’s Haitian community, she provides top-tier delivery and articulation of community concerns. Gepsie’s motto is, “Provide the leadership to get things done!

Haitian Voices airs biweekly on Sundays at 12:30 PM, catch it this Sunday, November 13th.
