Watch Parties in Florida: President Obama announces Executive Action on Immigration
Miami, FL – On Thursday (Nov. 20th) night at 8pm EST, President Obama will finally make his long awaited announcement about granting administrative relief to millions of hard-working and immigrant families. The President is expected to provide more details about Administrative Relief during a speech on Friday, Nov. 21st in Las Vegas
Several organizations will set up watch parties across the State: Miami, Homestead, Orlando, Tampa and Palm Beach.
Now that mid-term elections are over, we expect that the President will fulfill his promise, turnaround his “Deporter in Chief” legacy, and take Executive Action to stop the crisis that immigrant families face with deportations. This is only a temporary solution and the President is taking the first step, but now we need Congress to do the right thing and move on Immigration Reform.
