ST. ANN’s, Jamaica – Jenna Bush Hager—daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush—is an American news personality, author, and journalist. She co-hosts NBC’s “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle.” This is the program’s fourth hour of the “TODAY” morning show.

During the visit, Sandals Dunn’s River set the stage for two special episodes taped in Jamaica. The event had sponsorship support from Sandals Resorts and the Jamaica Tourist Board. The broadcasts highlighted the island’s scenery, attractions, and local culture. Meanwhile, Bush Hager and co-host Sheinelle Jones explored beyond the resort.

The adventure included an Island Routes outing along Jamaica’s north coast. Departing by speedboat from Sandals Dunn’s River, the hosts traveled to Dunn’s River Falls. There, they climbed the cascading limestone terraces. These terraces have long been one of the island’s most recognizable natural landmarks.

The itinerary continued at Mystic Mountain for sweeping rainforest views and bobsled thrills. Afterward, they had lunch at the popular local restaurant Miss T’s Kitchen. Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, joined the visit. Additionally, a local mento band welcomed Bush Hager and Jones to an afternoon centered on the island’s culinary traditions.

During the excursion, Bush Hager remarked that it was her first time climbing a waterfall. The hosts also sampled Jamaican flavors and drinks, including white rum. They shared favorites such as saltfish fritters and classic rice and peas.

The Jamaica episodes offered viewers a mix of resort relaxation and off-property exploration—spotlighting adventure, music, and food alongside some of the destination’s best-known attractions.
