South Florida Christmas performance benefits Integrity Children’s Fund projects in Jamaica

BOCA RATON – ​The annual Christmas Concert series hosted by Atlanta based Integrity Children’s Fund (ICF) will take place this Saturday (Dec. 17) at 5:00 p.m., at the Olympic Heights Community High School, 20101 Lyons Road, Boca Raton, FL 33434.

​Titled “CHRISMUS CAN ACROSS IT” the event will feature two of Jamaica’s cultural ambassadors – Joan Andrea Hutchinson, storyteller, writer, actress and cultural educator, Joan Andrea Hutchinson, and child prodigy and reggae gospel minister, Junior Tucker.

​Patrons attending performances will also enjoy an evening of entertainment of music, drama and comedic skits performed by Sarge and de people, Dem pickney – an Atlanta based drama group.

​President of the Integrity Children’s Fund, Major Karl Chambers said that proceeds from the fundraising ventures by the ICF continue to support and assist the disadvantaged children in inner city schools in Kingston and Montego Bay.

​The ICF, a Christian organization launched in 2002, have so far supported the development of intellectual, social and educational resources in three schools – Joy Town Learning Center, an early childhood education facility in Trench Town; Operation Christian School, a remedial institution for illiterate teens; and Peter’s Rock Preparatory School, a kindergarten and elementary school in East Rural St. Andrew.  Teamwork School in Flankers, Montego Bay is the newest charity to benefit from the Integrity Children’s Fund.

​Annual fundraising projects to benefit the Integrity Children’s Fund include concerts, walkathons and parties along with contributions from several individual and corporate donors.
