MIAMI – Operation Green Leaves Inc. has joined forces with “PapaLoko 4 Kids”, a non-profit organization dedicated to teach art to kids in our under-served communities, & Lucky Pierre’s Band”, a local musical group, to raise funds for OGL’s reforestation projects in Haiti and “PapaLoko4 Kids” project here in South Florida.
Their strategy is to use music and art as a tool to raise awareness and funds for these two projects.
On the 1st Saturday of every month, they will host a special event with live music from various talented artists and bands at the Fabulous Jakmel Art Gallery in the Wynwood Art District, located at 147 N.W. 36th Street.
According to their Project Coordinator, Rhonda Veerasawmy-LeBlanc, they believe in their mission statement: “A collaborative effort to create a sustainable world for future generations”.
The community is invited to take part in the sensational live music, mouthwatering Caribbean food, while surrounded by fabulous Art .
