Second Annual ‘PhilanthroFest’ Event Unites South Florida’s Non-Profit Organizations With Art, Music, Culture

MIAMI – PhilanthroFest, a volunteer based organization that connects people, passion and philanthropy in South Florida, will hold their second annual outdoor festival showcasing over 100 South Florida non-profit organizations on Saturday, April 6 from Noon to 6 p.m. at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus.

During the free, large-scale community event, South Florida residents of all ages will have the opportunity to learn about philanthropic organizations and community resources in a family-friendly atmosphere while enjoying music, art, performance, demonstrations, vendors, food trucks, fun family activities courtesy of PhilanthroFest’s community partners.

The event takes place annually in April and is free and open to the public with the goal of connecting potential volunteers and donors to not-for-profit organizations while creating an environment that promotes civic engagement, deepens community connections and sparks the philanthropic spirit of South Florida.

South Florida residents will have access to valuable resources and services in the areas of Business & Economic Development, City/County Services, Civic Engagement/Community Improvement & Capacity Building, Cultural/Arts/Humanities, Educational, Environmental, Health/Human Services/Disease Prevention, Poverty/Welfare, Animal Related, Food/Agriculture/Nutrition, Recreation & Sports, and Youth Development & Services.

Free space is provided to non-profits to promote their mission and connect with the community.
