MIAMI – Miami Dade College InterAmerican Campus will host a series of talks, panels, and presentations on the Black Lives Matter movement March 21 – 24.
These events are designed to offer the opportunity for discussion and analysis of the Black Lives Matter movement, as seen through the lens of various disciplines at the campus. Connections will be made between racial prejudice and terrorism, equality and social justice, and environmental sustainability.
The Black Lives Matter initiative is a cooperative effort of Project TAACT (Terrorism Awareness through College and Community Teamwork), the InterAmerican Campus GSELS (Global Sustainability and Earth Literacy Studies) Learning Network, Earth Ethics Institute, and participating InterAmerican Campus faculty.
All events will be held in Room 3103 (unless otherwise noted).
