LRCC’s ‘How to do Good and Make Money’ Networking Breakfast

LAUDERHILL – The Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) will be hosting its Monthly Networking Breakfast on Friday August 08, 2015 from 7:30am to 9:30 am at the Lago Mar Country Club, 500 NW 127th Avenue in Plantation, Florida 33325.

The Breakfast will be held under the theme ‘How to do Good and Make Money’’ and will showcase the Non-profit members of the Chamber as well as Non-profits in our community which are all doing commendable charitable work in serving the region while providing a livelihood for the people who work with them.

Speakers include Beth Bryant, Director of Business Development at HANDY. Beth is a dynamic professional who is customer focused, energetic, and goal-oriented. A self-motivated team builder with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, she works well under pressure, and leads by example. A strong sales background and good work ethic qualifies her with the ability to lead, train, motivate, and inspire others.

Beth became involved with HANDY as a volunteer for 2 years and was offered a position as Director of Development. She is committed to HANDY’s mission to embrace, educate, and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged, productive adults.

Dale Mandell

Dale Mandell, President/CEO of HandsOn Broward since 1999 is well  known  in the Non-profit business and will be sharing her expertise with Chamber Members at the Breakfast. She began working in the Non-profit sector in 1995, and prior to coming on board with HOB, she worked for the Foundation arm of Target where she helped to implement the ‘Take Care of Education Program.’ During her leadership at HOB, Dale has cultivated relationships with hundreds of Non-profits, corporate and community partners to effect positive change through high-impact civic engagement and leadership initiatives. HandsOn Broward engages over 10,000 individuals in meaningful projects each year, and strengthens local communities through volunteering and service.

Speaker Hopi Noel Morton, Director of Development and Capacity Building at The Center for Social Change is also another  featured Speaker at this Breakfast. She brings much expertise to Non-profits as a Producer, Educator and Writer specializing in pro-social program development and media-based projects. She specializes in start-ups, strategic planning, program development, youth/child development, teaching, public speaking/facilitation, train the trainer, grant development writing in teleplay, screenplay and film and television.

Sharon McLennon

LRCC Board Director, Sharon McLennon CPA and CEO at Renaissance Property Management Group will also be a Speaker at this breakfast. Sharon is the LRCC’s Small Business of the Year Recipient and continues to have a stellar career in Real Estate. She is well known for her altruism in the community and has much to share with Chamber Members on Friday morning.

The Breakfast will be hosted by the energetic Melissa Dunn, MBA, LRCC Marketing Chairperson, and CEO and Marketing Expert of MD Marketing Network. A visionary leader with a global perspective, Melissa is always focused on the bottom-line and client care and will ably guide the morning’s proceedings.
