Legal Issues in Carnival Culture with Attorney Marlon Hill

MIAMI – The FIU Law Caribbean Student Bar Association presents “Issues in Carnival Culture” discussing the legal issues arising from one of the biggest events in Miami, the Miami Broward Carnival.

The event features attorney Marlon Hill, Esq., General Counsel for Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee, Inc.  Mr. Hill will discuss the legal issues surrounding the event and the history of carnival in the Caribbean and Miami.

The event also features Cornelia Kelly, section costume designer for Bajan Fuheva who will explain the intricacies of designing the beautiful costumes we see on the road while displaying a sneak peak of her stunning Cotton Candy section that will be featured on the road this year.

This lunch hour workshop will be held on Thursday, September 27, 12 noon, at Florida International University, College of Law, Rafael Diaz Balart Hall, 11200 SW 8th Street, Miami.
