JAZZ IN THE GARDENS OFFICIAL OPENING NIGHT PARTY FEATURING THE DAZZ BAND & THE S.O.S BAND PERFORMING

MIAMI GARDENS – The City of Miami Gardens’ 9th annual Jazz in the Gardens music festival is proud to announce a funky addition to the Jazz in the Gardens weekend.

This year marks the first Official Friday night opening party at Calder Casino & Race Course, located at 21001 N.W 27th Avenue, Miami Gardens, Fl., 33056. The party gets started at 9:00 p.m. and goes until.

Funk legends Dazz Band and S.O.S Band will encourage fans to get funky with hits such as “Let It Whip”, “Joystick” and “Take Your Time.” Rick Party of the Rick Party Afternoon Show on Miami’s #1 urban radio station WHQT/HOT 105 will host.

L.L. Cool J, Jamie Foxx, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Mint
Condition, Anthony Hamilton, Stanley Clarke, Rachelle Farrell and Boney James will take the
stage over the weekend at Sun Life Stadium. More than 50 food vendors will gather to offer
exciting fare like Bahamian Conch salad, Jamaican curry chicken, southern style BBQ, healthy
all-fruit smoothies and much more. Shopaholics’ can browse Merchandise Village where fans
can take home an official Jazz in the Gardens memento as well as an array of unique offerings.

Jazz in the Gardens Saturday and Sunday tickets are on sale now at www.jazzinthegardens.com,
the Sun Life Stadium Box Office, and www.ticketmaster.com Two day tickets start at $80, single day tickets start at $50.

The Jazz in the Gardens weekend will kick off on Friday morning 3/14 with the Women’s Impact
Conference & Luncheon at Shula’s Hotel & Golf Club.
