MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Jamaica’s Prime Minister the Most Honorable Portia Simpson Miller greeted members of the international media following the official opening of Club Mobay, a state-of-the-art VIP lounge at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The event was held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, the official start of the winter tourist season.
Members of the media included, Max Hartshorne Jr., GoNOMAD.com; Michael Ortiz, SmartWomenTravelers.com; Mark Stachiew, Canada.com; and Tamika Auwai, The Hip & Urban Girl’s Guide.
The journalists were in Jamaica courtesy of the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) to experience some of what the destination had to offer the adventure seeking traveler.
The JTB partnered with Jakes Hotel in Treasure Beach and Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay to host the media.
