Out of the resorts 299 luxury apartments, sky penthouses and villas, 200 residences are available for occupancy this Christmas. Due to high demand of apartments and penthouses by owners, only a select number of units are available for rental over Christmas and New Year. “We expect to have a full house,” says General Manager Lester Scott.

As of Christmas, the resort’s main restaurant located in The Palmyra Clubhouse will be open throughout the day to serve guests breakfast, lunch and dinner. The social hub of the resort, the Clubhouse is also home to the resort’s main bar with inside and outside lounge areas and portico, offering beautiful views of The Palmyra’s main swimming pool, pool bar, white sand beach and gazebo. Light lunches and drinks will be served poolside for those wishing to relax around the pool to the blue colors of the Caribbean Sea.

With beautiful balconies and ocean views, The Palmyra is one of the only resorts in Jamaica to offer FLOW digital TV in all residences. Enjoyed by residents and guests, The Palmyra’s white sand beach has gained a new devotee in “Pelican Peter” who often comes to fish in the beautiful lagoon. For the ultimate in relaxation, spa treatment rooms are available for nourishing body massages and spa treatments. “We are extremely pleased to see such a high demand for rentals at The Palmyra ahead of the winter season,” concludes General Manager Lester Scott.

The Palmyra Clubhouse was a center of activity on November 6th, 2010, when The Palmyra Foundation organized a fundraiser benefiting book purchases for Jamaican children. The event, which included entertainment by Jamaican comedian Tony “Paleface” Hendriks from London, LA based recording artist Cassidy and island musician Dwight Richards with band, was attended by 150 guests who offered much praise for food, music and entertainment.
