BROWARD COUNTY – A large contingent of Jamaican nationals and friends of the Diaspora turned out the Jamaica Flag raising ceremony on Thursday, August 6th to commemorate Jamaica’s 53rd anniversary of Independence held at the Lauderhill Sports Complex. The ceremony featured a line-up of cultural entertainment, food tastings and remarks from civic officials.
Jamaica’s Consul General Franz Hall received the “Key To Broward County” from Broward County’s Board of County Commissioners.
