Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce to install new Officers
TAMARAC – The Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GCACC) will be celebrating its 12 years of service to the business community, with an Anniversary Banquet and Installation of Officers Ceremony, on Friday February 16 at 7:00pm.
The Banquet will be held at the Daimante Banquet Center, 6501 W. Commercial Boulevard, in Tamarac.
Broward County Mayor, Josephus Eggelletion, Jr., has been invited to perform the installation of the new Officers, which includes, President-elect Albert Lettman (resident of Sunrise), a member of 4 years who has served in the capacity of Parliamentarian.
Mr. Lettman is currently the President of Island Arts & Custom Framing (Sunrise) & Project Manager 11 for the Dade County Public Schools (Miami), and is the Immediate Past President of Cornwall College (Jamaica) Alumni Association of Florida.

Mr. Vincent HoSang, President and CEO of Caribbean Food Delights Inc., a division of Royal Caribbean Bakery (New York) is the Special Guest Speaker and Honoree for the evening. HoSang is a rags-to-riches entrepreneur who after emigrating to the US from Jamaica, started out with a humble beginning earning $49 a week assembling briefcases in a factory in the Bronx, New York.
Today, HoSang owns and operates 2 factories, a 73,000 sq ft patty plant, and a 20,000 sq ft baked goods plant, and boasts phenomenal sales in 2003 of $25 million with a plan to move that to $100 million within 5 years.
Special invitees include Caribbean American Elected Officials and other Elected Officials and Community Leaders. The Chamber will also be honoring two local Caribbean businesses for their outstanding service and commitment to the community. Music will be provided by Trilogy Productions Ltd., and tickets are now on sale for $55.00 per person.
