South Florida Caribbean News nominated for Black Web AwardCORAL SPRINGSSouth Florida Caribbean News has recently been nominated for a Black Web Award in the category of “Best Caribbean News and Politics Site” by visitors and an independent Academy of Judges.

The annual Black Web Awards were first designed to recognize and celebrate African, African American and Caribbean excellence online.

Readers and visitors from over three hundred Black themed websites will have the opportunity to cast their vote. They can vote for their favorite in over 100 categories.

“We are pleased to organize and launch this important milestone event for the Black web”  says Odogwu Obi Linton. Linton is President of Linton Publishing, LLC, a Baltimore, Maryland based, 100% Black owned and operated company. “It’s long overdue, and will help promote hundreds of creative, original online efforts to the world.

Ballots close on October 20, 2006, and winners will be announced online on November 17th.
