Caribbean-American to Pen Foreword For Who’s Who In Black South Florida™ 2008 Edition

DAVIE – Who’s Who in Black South Florida™ proudly announces that Dr. Rudolph Moise, medical doctor, minority health care provider, entrepreneur, attorney and pilot, will pen the foreword for the second annual edition of Who’s Who In Black South Florida™, a world-class annual directory profiling South Florida’s most accomplished and influential black citizens.

A press conference and reception sponsored by Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., The Mahogany Grille and Dewar’s 12 will be held January 22nd, 2008 from six to eight p.m. in honor of Dr. Moise and the 2008 edition of Who’s Who In Black South Florida™. The press conference portion of the evening will begin at seven p.m. The event will be held at the famous neoclassical soul food restaurant, the Mahogany Grille located at 2190 NW 183rd St in Miami Gardens. Admission is free and open to the public.

Moise is a doctor of osteopathic medicine with a flourishing practice that boasts multiple offices in Miami, Orlando and most recently Naples. Additionally, Dr. Moise is co-owner of Access Health Solutions, a minority healthcare network dedicated to treating underserved immigrant populations in addition to being one of the largest providers of Medicare services in Florida.

Dr. Moise did not speak English upon arrival to the United States at the age of 17 making his great life successes all the more inspiring. A firm proponent of higher education, Moise has never forgotten his immigrant roots and continues to give back to the Haitian community in South Florida and throughout the nation through his own achievements and advocacy for the Caribbean nation. In addition to helping facilitate several medical missions sending vital medicines to Haiti, Moise worked to establish the first Dialysis Unit in Haiti in 1984.

Currently, Moise is an executive committee member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of the Florida Independent Physicians Association (IPA). He serves as President of the Operation Kimbe Foundation Inc. a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide assistance to Haitian-based organizations that furnish medical and health related support to positively impacts the lives of Haitian people. He is also on the 33 member advisory board for Who’s Who In Black South Florida™.

Moise has received numerous awards and recognitions for his outstanding public service and community leadership. He has founded and chaired numerous civic and professional organizations, including the National Organization for the Advancement of Haitians (NOAH), the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, United Way Board of Directors, Florida Memorial College Board of Visitors, and the University of Miami Board of Trustees. Furthermore he received Gubernatorial appointment to the Haitian Commission by Gov. Jeb Bush from 2004 – 2005.

Who’s Who In Black South Florida™ is scheduled for release mid-June, 2008. Upon release, Who’s Who In Black South Florida™ will be available online at www.wwbsf.com and retail in area bookstores and newsstands.
