Youth leaders have fun learning

MIAMI – The Educational Foundation for Children’s Care, Inc. in collaboration with Global Academic Partners, has initiated an interactive youth leadership series focused on exposing youth to various aspects of team building and conflict management.

This innovative series assists youth in enhancing their interpersonal communications, critical thinking, and leadership skills through practical “real-world” applications, which enhance their personal and professional interactions.

“Teamwork is an integral part of every day interaction,” states Paul van Putten, Global Academic Partners Senior Administrator. “Most of these skills are not being taught in school or at home. It is therefore important for organizations like the EFCCI to provide initiatives like this for youth to learn how to proactively and productively work together.”

This structured youth training program combines memorable skills building lessons with fun-learning activities. Each activity allows youth to gain an understanding of how to work and play together while they participate in team focused activities. To date over 80 youth throughout South Florida have completed the youth leadership training program.
