MIAMI – In order to better serve its audience and give “the people” what they want to hear WTPS AM-1080 has added two new personalities to the current lineup.
Starting May 8, Michael Baisden, renowned author and motivational speaker will air his show, “Love, Lust and Lies” from 4 p.m.-7 p.m Monday through Friday.
Also joining the broadcast lineup from 10 p.m. to Midnight will be Dr. Rachael, Board Certified Family Medicine Physician and Clinical Sexologist, who will educate listeners with her message of healthy, self-affirming sex and sexuality.

WTPS 1080, owned and operated by Radio-One, Inc. launched an innovative Black News talk format on January 30th, 2006, geared to informing and educating the Black populace of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

This format, which has been well received as evidenced by increasing sales and a very responsive audience, begins at 6 a.m. Monday to Friday with well-known local hosts, James T and Tamara G and continues with Michael Eric Dyson from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.and the Reverend Al Sharpton from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. “The 2 Lives Stews” will continue to bring sports and entertainment humor to listeners at a new time 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
WTPS will continue its Saturday Caribbean programming and Sunday inspirational music and talk.
