MIAMI – On Saturday, September 13th from 7pm-10pm the Women for Obama Miami and the Arts Host Committee, which comprised of local artists, supporters and art enthusiasts, will host a prvate reception, Arts for Change, and also launch the Vote for Change Art Walk at 24 NW 36th St in the Wynwood Art District in
Miami.
The event seeks to encourage voter registration and raise awareness in support of Democratic Presidential Nominee Senator Barack Obama, among Miami’s art and cultural community.
The fundraiser will also highlight the senator’s proposed policy on the arts. Contribution is a minimum $25 per person; $15 students with ID; $100 Art Walk Angels.
