Vintage Reggae Winter Fest Welcomes the King and Queen

MIRAMAR – After outstanding performances at the recently held Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival at the Greenfield Stadium in Trelawny, the undisputed Reggae Queen Marcia Griffiths and King Yellowman are ready to wow South Florida fans at the Vintage Reggae Winter Music Festival, scheduled for Sunday, February 19, at Miramar Regional Park.

The golden voiced and energetic Griffiths had the crowd engaged throughout her performance as she went through her catalogue of hit songs which included “I Shall Sing” and “Feel Like Jumping.” Veteran deejay, Yellowman gave a majestic performance holding the cheering audience spell bound during an electrifying performance which lasted for about half hour. In between deliveries such as “Blue Berry Hill,” “I am Getting Married” and “Mr. Chin”, the deejay was hilarious in his interaction with the patrons whom he had in stitches.
