Washington, D.C. – On Saturday, January 16 the Vice President, Dr. Jill Biden, and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will visit South Florida. They will meet with leaders of the Haitian-American community in the Little Haiti, Miami, area.
Then, the Vice President, Secretary Napolitano, and Members of Congress will visit Homestead Air Reserve Base to meet with service members and first responders based in South Florida who are supporting and mobilizing relief efforts in Haiti.
