United Way Seeking Donations for Haiti Earthquake Victims

BROWARD COUNTY – United Way of Broward County in conjunction with United Way Worldwide is seeking donations for Haiti earthquake victims.

Donations can be made online at www.unitedwaybroward.org by credit card. Checks should be made payable to “United Way of Broward County – Haiti” and mailed to United Way of Broward County’s office located at Ansin Building, 1300 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

All donations will be used to provide immediate disaster relief items such as food, shelter, supplies and clothing. United Way Worldwide is working in collaboration with the Caribbean Council to ensure that donations are invested in the most effective nonprofit agencies providing services in Haiti.

“In Broward County, we have so many residents with family and business connections in Haiti. Fortunately, because we are a part of United Way Worldwide, we can assist our community in providing immediate relief to the victims of this horrific tragedy,” said Dr. Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, president & CEO of United Way of Broward County.
