United Teachers of Dade Celebrate 8th Annual ‘Jazz In the Gardens’

Miami Gardens – Music matters … now more than ever as South Florida prepares for the 8th Annual ‘Jazz in the Gardens’ Music Festival! As the City of Miami Gardens celebrates 10 years of incorporation, they also celebrate the success of the country’s fastest growing music festival destination … 8 years going strong.

United Teachers of Dade (UTD) will share the ‘Jazz In The Gardens’ experience with members in an exclusive way by giving them the opportunity to purchase tickets at a special discount, receive up to the minute ‘Jazz In The Gardens’ news and updates, participate in exciting contests, giveaways and exclusive artist meet and greets. During the festival, UTD will also present the “Teachers Oasis Lounge”, an interactive booth with massages and VIP treatment on-site designed to celebrate UTD members and the community they serve.

A large part of the festival’s success can be attributed to the loyalty of South Florida residents, many of whom work in our local public schools and are also members of The United Teachers of Dade. UTD represents more than 35,000 education professionals in the Miami-Dade County and has been a fierce advocate for quality public schools that include art and music education. UTD is committed to leading the cause for improving our local public schools and ensuring access for all children to a high quality public education.

“We are excited to partner with the 8th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival and we congratulate the City of Miami Gardens as they celebrate their 10th anniversary of incorporation,” said UTD President-Elect, Fedrick Ingram. “I want to thank the City for their unwavering support of the arts, including music in our public schools. Art and music education are critical in providing a complete education for our children.”

The 8th Annual “Jazz In The Gardens’ takes places March 16 and 17 at SunLife Stadium in Miami Gardens and features Ne-Yo, Earth Wind & Fire, Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Monica.
