U.S. Virgin Islands Targets Families For Summer Travel To The Territory

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Department of Tourism has launched a new Family Fun promotion designed to entice families to visit the Territory this summer. Families who reserve one room for two persons will receive 50 percent off the price of a second room for the kids. The Family Fun package is bookable through May 31, 2010 for travel between June 1 and August 31, 2010.

“The family market remains a key priority, and we’re committed to targeting these valuable travelers and providing an incentive for them to spend more in the Territory by offering added-value such as $200 in dining and activities credits,” said Commissioner Tourism Commissioner Beverly Nicholson-Doty. “With the end of high season just around the corner, our strategy was to introduce the Family Fun promotion in time to attract summer arrivals and ultimately stimulate the economy year-round.”
