U.S. Embassy donates over J$4.5 Million in goods to Non-Governmental Organizations in Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office at the U.S. Embassy recently donated furniture and appliances valued over $4.5 million to ten faith- based and community- based organizations in Kingston and St. Catherine.

Among those receiving furniture was the Alpha Boys’ School for marginalized youth, which received furniture for its new Reflection Room where troubled boys are counseled and Woman Inc, which received furnishings for its shelter for victims of trafficking in persons.
