The Jamaica Ex-Police Association Of South Florida Hosting Annual Tea Party

TAMARAC – The Jamaica Ex-Police Association, South Florida chapter, annual fundraising tea party will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 7 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 West Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac, Florida.

Entertainment will be provided by Winston Dias, Taurus Alphanso, Charmaine Radcliff, Hyacinth Deperalto, Kayla Wright, plus a fashion show. Sky Force Disco will supply the music. Emcees are John T of WAVS 1170 AM Radio and Malachi.

There will be prizes and surprises galore including prizes for the best 70’s outfits, the best hat, and the best dressed male and female.

Tickets are $20.00. They are available from the association members.

The association renovates a police station annually in Jamaica. This year, the Richmond Police Station in St. Mary was renovated. Over US $ 5000.00 was spent on the project by the association and its members.

The association also awarded a scholarship to a U.S. college student in South Florida and one to a high school student in Jamaica. This is done annually.

The association is in its 13th year with Members of the association who are active in community projects and activities in the south Florida area.
