NEW YORK – Last year during the Summer Olympics Jamaicans across the globe were beaming with pride as they celebrated the “world class” achievement of Jamaican Olympians.
These achievements did not come overnight, as it takes years of dedication, training and support for them during the development phase. A significant part of our athletes’ development is Penn Relays.
While they compete and make us proud Team Jamaica Bickle lead by Mr. Irwine Clarke has over the past 15 years taken up the important task of feeding, and subsidizing transportation and housing, and acting as liaison at times to the Univ of Penn.
Irwine Clarke is appealing to Jamaicans across the globe to make a contribution to Team Bickle to meet their goal of $75,000 this year.
