SuperClubs’ U.S. Representative Appoints Vice President of Sales and Director of Marketing

HOLLYWOOD – International Lifestyles, Inc. (ILI), the U.S. representative of SuperClubs Resorts, announced two significant sales and marketing promotions, effective immediately.

Gwenn Feliciano has been appointed vice president of sales with executive oversight of both retail and wholesale sales channels, and Matthew Tippins has been appointed director of marketing, overseeing both consumer and travel trade marketing efforts.

The organizational changes come on the heels of SuperClubs’ major rebranding initiatives announced on January 20.

“Gwenn and Matthew’s talents will help steer SuperClubs as we realign, elevate and expand our Breezes brand in the coming year,” said Paul Pennicook, president of ILI. “Under their capable leadership, our sales, marketing and resort teams will continue to work together seamlessly, allowing us to be more responsive to consumer and travel agency needs from start to finish.”

Gwenn Feliciano

Previously vice president of wholesale sales, Feliciano is in charge of SuperClubs’ retail, wholesale, groups, meetings and incentive sales. After joining ILI in 1998 as manager of national accounts, she steadily managed and grew SuperClubs’ wholesale partnerships. In 2004 she was promoted to director of wholesale sales and last year was named vice president wholesale sales. Prior to ILI, she was a consultant for AAA Vacations European product, and marketing manager for the American Express Vacations brand.

Matthew Tippins

In his new role, Tippins will oversee both consumer and travel trade marketing efforts. Over the past five years, he has led two SuperClubs website redesigns and launched many of the resort group’s current marketing efforts including search engine optimization, email marketing, database segmentation, customer acquisition and pre- and post-departure campaigns. Since first joining ILI in 2000, he has held numerous positions including operations analyst, email marketing specialist and, most recently, senior marketing manager handling consumer-facing advertising and marketing. Tippins started his career in the travel industry in 1996 at Certified Vacations.
