St. Lucia Tourism Board’s Canadian Office to host road show across Ontario
ONTARIO, Canada – The St. Lucia Tourism Board’s Canadian office will be hosting a St. Lucia Road Show in five cities across Ontario from Monday, December 4th to Friday, December 8th, 2006.
The five seminars will include 30 agents in total from Air Canada Vacations, Sunquest Vacations/Holiday House, and Vacance Transat Tours.
The seminars were created with the following objectives:
• To promote St. Lucia’s diverse tourism product to the Canadian trade
• To sensitize the travel trade to the new product developments on island
• To build closer relationships with St. Lucia’s top producing agents
• To boost the winter seasons for St. Lucia
The Road Shows will be held in North York, Ottawa, Oakville, London, and Toronto. The cities selected to host the event were chosen based on production and revenue generation for the island of St. Lucia.
The schedule for the Road Show is as follows:
• 6:00 p.m. – Monday Dec 4th – North York, Auberge du Pommier, 4150 Yonge Street
• 6:00 p.m. – Tuesday Dec 5th – Ottawa, Chateau Laurier, 1 Rideau Street
• 6:00 p.m. – Wednesday Dec 6tth – Oakville, Jonathan’s of Oakville, 120 Thomas Street
• 6:00 p.m. – Thursday Dec 7th – London, Best Western Lamplighter Inn, 591 Wellington Road
• 12:00 p.m. – Friday Dec 8th – Toronto, Sassafraz, 100 Cumberland Street
Agents will begin by registering and taking part in a mini tradeshow followed by a power point presentation. Prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the evening.
All participating hotels will begin to set up for the Road Show at 5:30 p.m on Monday – Thursday, and at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
The hotels partaking in the Road Show include: Almond Morgan Bay, Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain, Bay Gardens Hotel, Coconut Bay Resort & Spa, Coco Resorts, Discovery at Marigot Bay, East Winds Inn, Ladera, Sandals Halcyon, Regency, and Grande, Sunswept Resorts, and Windjammer Landing.
