BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – The Peopleʼs Action Movement, under the leadership of Mr. Lindsay Grant would like to officially congratulate President Elect senator Barack Obama on his historic ascension to the highest office in the United States of America.
The people of the United States have resoundingly endorsed the mantra of change that is so prevalent throughout the Caribbean region and the world.
President Elect Barack Obama represents the culmination, and realization of the dreams aspirations and struggles of the American people. He has exemplified the American dream as well as the realization of Dr. Martin Luther Kingʼs philosophy of unity.
As a party we support the ascension of an educated, inspirational African American to the highest office in the free world.
As a party we look forward to our own Change in St. Kitts and Nevis and we look forward to working with President-Elect Barack Obama in the very near future as we resolve to improve the lives of Kittitians and Nevisians at home and in the diaspora.
