South Florida’ s hottest radio program ”GIRLZ TALK” heats up the “Heartbeat of the Caribbean”!!
DAVIE – The airwaves of South Florida’s “Heartbeat of the Caribbean” WAVS, 1170 am on Friday mornings between 1:00 am and 2:00 am can hear the flamboyant, Joan Savoury aka, SAVY’E with her new program GIRLZ TALK.
This program is a women’s lifestyle entertainment show, backed by slow jams of reggae, jazz, R & B, soca as the host talks about fashion, makeup, hair, relationships, diets and so much more.
Phone lines to have talks will be open as well as special guests will be invited in to express views, and pertinent information to listeners.
The host, SAVY’E, embodies her accumulated knowledge and analytical skills in accomplishing many more cultural presentations, one of which presented a clear niche in media.
Savoury joined Soulbeat Television Network – KSBT, 12 years ago, to broadcast hot breaking news from not only her home, but from all over the Caribbean to over 1,000,000 Bay Area residents thru anchoring the daily news as well as hosting Caribbean Beat, a cultural TV program.
Joan Savoury has been awarded both by KSBT Television and International Reggae Day (in Jamaica) in appreciation of a job well done.
It is also, not unusual to attend a massive event whether in Cali, Florida or in other parts of the States or in her hometown of Kingston, and see SAVY’E on stage as the event’s MC. Along with all of SAVY’E credits to her name she is presently the entertainment editor for South Florida’s Caribbean National Weekly newspaper.
