Reggae Symphony 2009 to feature Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Bob Andy and The Reggae Strings Orchestra
FT. LAUDERDALE – Following an impressive debut last year, Big Ship Music and County Line Chiropractic Centers will present another elegant and enjoyable evening of classic Jamaican music.
Reggae Symphony 2009 will feature Grammy nominated, Reggae Ambassador Freddie McGregor, the Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths and veteran vocalist Bob Andy on Sunday, March 29, 2009 7:00pm at Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
Accompanied by Lloyd Parkes’ We the People Band and the Reggae Strings Orchestra, the featured reggae icons will perform a number of their chart topping hits such as I Was Born a Winner, Big Ship, Push Come to Shove, Truly, Live On, Electric Slide, Fire Burning, Let Them Say, Too Experienced, Young Gifted & Black and many more!
Produced by Big Ship Music Inc., Reggae Symphony 2009 is a follow-up on last year’s successful sold-out presentation which featured two of Jamaica’s greatest voices, John Holt and Freddie McGregor with the melodic sounds of an orchestra combined with pulsating reggae rhythms.
