CARY, North Carolina – Jamaica and USA played to an exciting 1-1 draw in a friendly international match in Cary, North Caroline in front of a sold out stadium and live coverage of ESPN2.
The Reggae Boyz, took the early lead in only the fourth minute with a goal by Teofore Bennett. USA rallied in the 25th minute thanks to Ben Olsen who tied the game.
The USA made several inroads into the heart of the Boyz’ defense and in minute 54 Ricketts pulled off a spectacular one-handed save, tipping Albright’s powerful close-range header over the horizontal.
