Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffith brings back the I Three’s

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths brings back the I-Threes for her 50th anniversary of Reggae as a leading performance artiste.

She apologized for the absence of Sister Rita Marley and substituted the vivacious Nadine Sutherland and together paid tribute to the dynamic legendary trio.

The I-Threes were a famous Jamaican reggae singing group comprised of three women, that was formed in 1974 to support Bob Marley & The Wailers. This occurred after the original Wailer backing vocalists, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, left the band.

The I-threes are known to be the most influential female singing group in the history of Jamaican music.
