Patrick Manning Sworn in as Trinidad’s Prime Minister

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Political Leader of the People‘s National Movement Patrick Manning, was sworn in as Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on Wednesday November 7, 2007, at Woodford Square, Port of Spain, before an audience of dignitaries, other specially invited guests, and members of the public.

The Prime Minister created history for the people of Trinidad and Tobago, by delivering an address following the acceptance of the Oath of Office.

In his maiden address, Prime Minister Manning gave the assurance that ‘‘in word and deed, mine will continue to be an administration for all in T&T.‘‘ He also urged citizens: ‘‘Let us go forward as the family of T&T.‘‘
