PAKISTAN vs. JAMAICA! Lauderhill’s 5th Annual Night Cricket series finals
LAUDERHILL – The stage is set once again, and the final two teams are ready to battle it out at the City of Lauderhill Sports Complex on Saturday, May 19th at 8:00 pm, for what is to be the most exciting game for this year!
The Final Championship between reining champion Team Jamaica will once again defend their title against Team Pakistan.
Jamaica is captained by Mr. Mark Johnson and managed by Mr. Ray Pink.
Pakistan is captained by Mr. Irfan Hassan and managed by Mr. Mohammed Qureshi.
These two teams will be vying for the coveted 5th Annual Lauderhill International Cricket Cup Trophy 2007, declaring one of them the winner and champion of one of South Florida’s most popular cricket event’s ….Lauderhill’s Night Cricket!
Closing Ceremony will begin at 7 pm, which will include the Season’s End Awards Presentation given by the City of Lauderhill’s Mayor, Commissioners, Caribbean Consul Generals and League Officials.
The 5th Annual International Cricket Cup began Saturday, January, 27th, at the Lauderhill Sports Park (7500 W. Oakland Park Blvd.), and the participating teams included Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, Guyana, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and the Lauderhill Team (America).
The City of Lauderhill invites all to come out and join them on this great day!
This short version of cricket lends itself to avid cricket fans and those wanting to learn more about the game of cricket while spending a relaxing evening in the wonderful South Florida weather with family and friends.
There will be drinks and food on sale (“Piping Hot & Tasty FISH-FRY on sale by the Lauderhill Eagles), lots of music and a play-by-play commentary of the game.
