Obama’s Campaign for Change to open first office in Miami-Dade County today

MIAMI GARDENS – On Tuesday, July 29, Barack Obama’s Campaign for Change will open the first of many offices in Miami-Dade County to the public at 640 NW 183rd Street, Miami Gardens at 5pm.

Local field operations, volunteers and staff members for Obama for America and Obama’s Campaign for Change will be based in the offices to allow Floridians to reach out to their communities about Barack Obama’s vision for bringing change we can believe in to America.

“Barack Obama is committed to the state of Florida and we continue to open offices statewide as we assemble the largest campaign team Florida has ever seen,” Florida State Director Steve Schale said. “We want to hear from Florida’s communities and give our grassroots volunteers the support they need to bring change we can believe in to Florida.”

The Campaign for Change is a project of the Florida State Party, led by top staffers who will work to harness the enthusiasm of Obama’s grassroots-level supporters and organize them in communities across Florida – neighbor to neighbor, friend to friend and colleague to colleague – working for the benefit of Democratic candidates up and down the ticket.
