Nikko Capria Makes Waves with #1 Hit Single “Paradise”

SOUTH FLORIDA – The Caribbean is known for their great people, beauty, turtles, coral reef formations, fish and the best tunes in the world. In the music scene, South Florida’s finest entertainer, Nikko Capria, makes a big splash with his number one hit single Paradise.

Capria is the President of NIKKO Entertainment, voted most innovative and interactive entertainment company in South Florida and beyond, and is known for his passion, energy and strong work ethic. He runs a hectic performing schedule often showing up to multiple venues in a night, making it nearly impossible to find someone who knows him on more than an impersonal basis.

“I know Capria both in front and behind closed doors and you get the same person,” said Jamie Lober, nationally-recognized speaker and writer on health issues and small business owner. Lober served on the American Cancer Society Leadership with Capria and described her relationship with him as slow-growing but very exciting. “He keeps me on my toes though he did not really approach me or anyone else at first; he was probably daydreaming up the lyrics to his latest hit song,” said Lober.

Lober claims she has learned a lot about the entertainment industry through what she describes as an emotional rollercoaster of experiences since relocating to South Florida over two years ago. “Obviously never let someone trick you into paying for VIP because if you have to pay you must not be too important,” said Lober. She tells that if you are looking to see live music, you are probably too early if you show up to a club before 3am. “You can expect your night to be filled with so-called upcoming artists which really means more wannabes with mixtapes,” said Lober. The South Florida Caribbean News has gotten to know Lober over the past six months as she promotes local health initiatives and her sweet, tell-it-like-it-is nature makes her one of the greatest, most loyal women you could have on your side. “I just stand up for what I believe in, never let my guard down, strike a balance and make sure that no guy who ever ruins my makeup ruins my life,” said Lober.

With much mystery remaining about herself, Lober tells that she is “loving” Capria’s new song. “On my Blackberry I have the Drake CD since I was testing the music application and I have Capria’s amazing song, if that says anything,” said Lober. She goes on to say that she has thousands of songs on her iPod but to get on her phone you really have to “make the cut.” Lober tells that as a manager, Capria discovered Deep Thoughts, an artist from Dade County and that together they are “a force.” Together, Capria and Deep Thoughts have reached the next level in music through creative songwriting, catchy beats, mesmerizing dance moves and appealing voices. “Deep Thoughts offers a fresh face, well-rounded skill set and jumps to speak of his manager as inspiring and someone who changed his life which further substantiates Capria as a leader I the game,” said Lober. The two have people of all ages and races singing, dancing and feeling motivated. “They have created a movement without even trying because their talent comes natural for them and they are so appreciative of the support they receive,” said Lober. In response to whether there are any downfalls about this duo, Lober goes silent. “I will never critique what I cannot do,” said Lober.

With regard to the draw to charismatic Capria, Lober said he is a chameleon who blends in to any environment but he is as real as they come. She feels she can talk to him about anything and that despite his driven nature, he does care about her and the world at large. “My bond with him is all about having fun, watching him one another succeed and being exposed to new things,” said Lober. She speaks fondly of him having seen him in different lights. “For me personally he is just one of those guys that I cannot wait to see because of his charm, ambition and good heart and to have seen him at work as well makes me proud of his character and dedication because I know he does things for the right reasons,” said Lober.

Lober said that knowing that Capria spends most of his waking hours on stage, awing crowds and smiling for cameras does not bother her one bit and goes a step further to say that she feels she has an edge up on the fans. “I do not go out of my way for him and am low maintenance; if I do not feel like doing my hair I will just wear a yoga pant so he will look at something else instead,” joked Lober. As we wonder if a guy could stump more subtly than Lober for these national superstars singing about paradise while enjoying a paradise of their own, we realize nobody can pull off an interview quite like Lober. “Deep Thoughts and Capria love me, I stand by what I say and we always go out with a bang,” said Lober. Coined in her job as the number one source for wellness information, Lober does not state whether she has performing ambition of her own. “I believe I should never say never,” said Lober.

While many are intimidated, idolizing or driven away by the fast rise to fame, Lober remains unaffected. “I have witnessed the screaming and cheering but to me, Capria is just a normal, all-around good guy with a unique profession,” said Lober. She even brushes off the fact that he was mistaken for an American Idol finalist this past weekend. “As a teen I was once mistaken for Sarah Michelle Gellar but I did not see any comparison photos in the newspapers; you just have to be yourself, set your own trail and not copy others, embrace your strengths and see where it gets you,” said Lober. Seemingly too honest yet cheerful and carefree, Lober reiterates the action, wildness, liveliness, high spirits and wow of seeing Capria and Deep Thoughts perform live. “It is unforgettable,” said Lober.
