New York Based Jamaican Charity Launches Raffle To Benefit Children In Haiti
NEW YORK – New York based Jamaican charity, Children of Jamaica Outreach (COJO) Inc. has launched its special raffle to benefit children in Haiti. The organization has received the support of JetBlue Airways which is again joining forces with the charity to respond to the plight of Haiti’s children impacted by the recent disaster. COJO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in New York, whose mission is to help improve the health, education and general well being of underprivileged children.
COJO’s special raffle to benefit the children of Haiti was officially launched on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Raffle tickets are now on sale: one for $5 and five for $20 and can be purchased from COJO executives and well wishers. Some attractive prizes are on offer:
Grand prize: A 7-day/6-night all-inclusive stay for two at any SuperClubs Resort in Jamaica plus travel certificates (a) on JetBlue
Second prize: A 5-day/4-night all-inclusive stay for two at any SuperClubs Resort in Jamaica plus travel certificates (a) on JetBlue
Third prize: A 4-day/3-night stay all-inclusive stay for two at any Sandals Resort in Jamaica plus travel certificates (a) on JetBlue

The raffle will be culminate during the week of May 17-21, 2010 when the winners will be announced at a special ceremony.
COJO Founder and Chairman Gary M. Williams is pleased to have been able to launch this raffle which will benefit children in Haiti. “Any opportunity to help children in need is a worthwhile investment and we thought it prudent to reach out to our Caribbean neighbors in this most difficult period to lend a hand,” noted Williams.
