New Tourism Development Company (TDC) Board appointed in Trinidad & Tobago

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Trinidad’s Tourism Minister, Stephen Cadiz presented instruments of appointment to eleven members of the newly constituted Board of the Tourism Development Company on February 22.

The Chairman of the new Board is Brian Frontin, a former banker and the Chairman of the Evolving Technologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited.

Three new directors have been appointed to the Board. These additions to the TDC Board are cricketer Daren Ganga, cultural activist Naidu Powdhar and attorney Madhavi Teeluckchan.

The reappointed directors are Deputy Chairman Janelle Commissiong-Chow; Carol Ann Birchwood-James; Cheryle Dubay-Tewarie; Dyanand Maharaj; Feroza Khan-Abdul; Premanand Badaloo and Ryan D’Arcy.

The new TDC Board has been mandated by the Ministry to develop Trinidad and Tobago into a significant and exciting destination for international tourists.
