MIAMI – On Saturday, August 14 Fannie Mae will conduct community homebuyer auctions for nearly 100 real-estate owned (REO) properties in Florida’s Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties at the Miami Beach Convention Center (1901 Convention Center Drive, Hall A Miami).
The morning and afternoon auctions are part of Fannie Mae’s broader efforts to help put families into homes and revive the neighborhoods that have been hardest hit by the real estate crisis.
– 9:30 AM (Owner -occupants using government funds)
– 12:30 PM (All owner occupants)
A scheduled morning auction will be exclusively for owner-occupants using government funds, such as down-payment assistance, to help them acquire a home. The afternoon auction will be open to all bidders who demonstrate that the home will be used as their primary residence.
The REO properties can be previewed during scheduled open houses on July 31st, August 7th and 8th from 12 noon to 4pm on each day. Prospective homebuyers are also encouraged to attend Buyer Seminars on August 3rd and 10th.
