MTV Tempo licenses Hardbeatnews content

NEW YORK, N.Y – (CaribPR Newswire) – Tempo, the new Caribbean channel introduced by MTV, has reached a one-year deal with Hardbeatnews, the only daily news service for Caribbean nationals in the U.S., Canada and the U.K, to carry its daily content on their websites, www.gottempo.com and www.tempotelevision.com.

Tempo, which unveiled the Caribbean leg of its broadcast on Nov. 21 and will enter the U.S. market next year, will republish select content from Hardbeatnews’ daily news feed for redistribution on their site, under an agreement finalized today.

Hardbeatnews is part the Caribbean World News Network, which is owned by Hard Beat Communications, Inc. The company also owns and CaribPR, the only PR newswire of the Caribbean.

In commenting on the recent alliance, Felicia Persaud, CEO of Hard Beat Communications, said, “The arrangement is a perfect fit since Tempo is the new Caribbean channel and Hardbeatnews is the only daily newswire for Caribbean nationals in the Diaspora.”

Hardbeatnews covers news and issues germane to Caribbean nationals in every Diaspora city they inhabit while providing companies with a medium to tap into this vast economically viable marketplace.

Since it’s launch in 2004, the newswire has been able to pull more than a million hits per month through affiliations with other partnering sites such as SouthFloridaCaribbeanNews.com www.SouthFloridaCaribbeanNews.com and Google News.
