Miami Passport Agency Open on Saturday March 28th for, “PASSPORT DAY IN THE USA”!

MIAMI – The Miami Passport Agency will be open on Saturday, March 28, 10 am. to 3 p.m. to accept first-time and renewal applications for a U.S. Passport “Book” and/or the new, credit-card-size U.S. Passport Card.

For this day only, appointments are not required for entry into a U.S. Passport Agency. Customers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the Miami Passport Agency.

Beginning June 1, 2009, all U.S. citizens must present a U.S. Passport Book, the new U.S. Passport Card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. Government in order to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry.

Currently, all U.S. citizens traveling in and out of the United States by air need to present a U.S. Passport “Book.”

The U.S. Passport Book costs $100 for those over the age of 16, whereas the U.S. Passport Card, good for entry at land borders and sea ports of entry, costs $45 for those over the age of 16. For those under the age of 16, the cost of a U.S. Passport Book is $85, whereas a U.S. Passport Card costs $35. Passport Book renewals are $75 for those over the age of 16 only.

Avenue, Third Floor, downtown Miami.
